
Sr. HR Compliance Specialist - Litigation
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Sr. HR Compliance Specialist - Litigation to join our Human Resources team. We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable individual who is passionate about developing and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of labor and employment laws and regulations, as well as the ability to assess, analyze, and evaluate HR compliance related issues. They should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to think critically and proactively.Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Law, or related field• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a compliance role• Experience working in a healthcare setting and knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices• Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage effective compliance strategies• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a safe and compliant work environment according to relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Analyze and evaluate HR compliance related issues.
- Create and implement effective compliance strategies.
- Provide advice and support to stakeholders on compliance related matters.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with labor and employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of compliance related disputes.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Prepare and review legal documents related to compliance matters.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
