1. Develop and implement a comprehensive major gifts fundraising strategy to support the mission and goals of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
2. Cultivate and steward relationships with high-level donors, including individuals, foundations, and corporations, to secure major gifts.
3. Identify new major gift prospects through prospect research and networking.
4. Collaborate with colleagues, volunteers, and leadership to identify funding priorities and develop compelling cases for support.
5. Build and maintain a portfolio of major gift prospects, strategically moving them through the donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship process.
6. Create and present persuasive and customized proposals to potential donors that align with their philanthropic interests and the needs of the medical center.
7. Utilize data and analytics to track progress, evaluate fundraising performance, and make strategic adjustments to meet fundraising goals.
8. Cultivate a deep understanding of the medical center’s programs and initiatives to effectively communicate the impact of philanthropic investments to donors.
9. Represent Cedars-Sinai Medical Center at donor events, conferences, and other external engagements to expand the donor base and promote the organization’s mission.
10. Collaborate with various departments and teams across the medical center to ensure alignment and coordination of fundraising efforts.
11. Maintain accurate and timely records of donor interactions and activities in the donor database.
12. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in major gift fundraising and share knowledge and insights with colleagues.
13. Uphold the highest ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in all donor interactions.
14. Serve as an ambassador and advocate for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, promoting the organization’s values and mission to all stakeholders.
15. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or leadership.
