Security Command Center Operator

At Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, our Security Command Center Operators are responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for our patients, staff and visitors. We are looking for an individual who is experienced in security operations and is committed to protecting the safety of our community. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and possess an aptitude for problem-solving. We are looking for someone who is able to remain calm in high-pressure situations and make quick, sound decisions. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:-Previous experience in security operations-Excellent interpersonal skills-Excellent attention to detail-Ability to prioritize and multitask-Ability to remain calm under pressure-Ability to make quick decisions-Computer literacy-Excellent written and verbal communication-Ability to work independently and as part of a team-Ability to maintain confidentiality-Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and respond to security alarms and emergency notifications in the command center.
2. Assist with security investigations as needed.
3. Enforce security policies and procedures.
4. Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
5. Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to any suspicious activity.
6. Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors.
7. Maintain accurate records of security operations.
8. Perform security patrols of the premises.
9. Report any violations or security breaches to the proper authorities.
10. Handle and resolve any customer complaints.
