  1. Manage revenue cycle for physician billing, including coding, charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for medical services by staying up-to-date on coding and billing regulations.
  3. Collaborate with physicians, insurance companies, and internal departments to resolve billing and reimbursement issues.
  4. Monitor and analyze revenue cycle data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and reduce accounts receivable days.
  6. Train and educate staff on revenue cycle processes and procedures.
  7. Identify and escalate potential compliance issues to management.
  8. Keep detailed and accurate records of all billing and revenue cycle activities.
  9. Communicate with patients regarding billing inquiries and payment options.
  10. Stay informed on changes in the healthcare industry and adapt revenue cycle processes accordingly.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  13. Collaborate with other revenue cycle specialists to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  14. Participate in revenue cycle audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
  15. Continuously monitor and improve revenue cycle performance metrics.
  16. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  17. Mentor and guide junior revenue cycle specialists as needed.
  18. Proactively identify and address revenue cycle issues and implement solutions.
  19. Attend training and development opportunities to enhance revenue cycle knowledge and skills.
  20. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Physician Billing And Coding, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting

  • Knowledge Of Cpt, Icd-10, And Hcpcs Coding Systems

  • Strong Understanding Of Revenue Cycle Management And Healthcare Billing Regulations And Compliance

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Physicians, Patients, And Insurance Companies.
