- Manage and analyze complex revenue cycle processes to ensure accurate billing and timely collections.
- Utilize knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance with billing and coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements for revenue cycle optimization.
- Review and resolve complex billing and coding issues to maximize revenue and minimize denials.
- Conduct thorough audits of patient accounts to identify and correct any discrepancies.
- Stay updated on industry changes and trends to make proactive adjustments to revenue cycle processes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with payers to negotiate favorable contracts and resolve payment issues.
- Train and mentor Revenue Cycle Specialists I and II to ensure a high level of proficiency and understanding of revenue cycle processes.
- Compile and present reports on revenue cycle performance to upper management.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and internal stakeholders regarding billing inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all revenue cycle processes.
- Prioritize and manage a high volume of tasks, effectively meeting deadlines and targets.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Adhere to all compliance and ethical standards in the execution of job duties.
- Continuously evaluate and improve revenue cycle processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Revenue Cycle Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field.
Advanced Knowledge Of Healthcare Billing And Coding Regulations, Including Medicare, Medicaid, And Commercial Payers.
Experience With Electronic Health Record Systems And Revenue Cycle Management Software, Such As Epic And Cerner.
Excellent Analytical Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Interpret And Analyze Complex Data To Identify Trends And Make Recommendations For Process Improvement.
