- Provide respiratory care to patients in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Assess and monitor patients' respiratory status and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory treatments and strategies for managing respiratory conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, documenting all treatments and interventions.
- Oversee and operate respiratory equipment, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
- Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives to maintain the highest standards of care.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in respiratory therapy and incorporate new techniques into practice.
- Provide guidance and support to junior respiratory therapists and students.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect patients' rights in all interactions.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss and coordinate patient care.

Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or A Related Field
Current State License As A Respiratory Care Practitioner
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience As A Respiratory Care Practitioner In A Hospital Setting
Advanced Certification As A Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt)
Experience With Advanced Respiratory Care Procedures, Such As Ecmo And Mechanical Ventilation Management.
