Job Description

We are looking for a Research Bioinformatician to join our world-class research team at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Our ideal candidate is an experienced and motivated scientist with a passion for discovering new knowledge through the application of bioinformatics. The Research Bioinformatician will be responsible for developing and applying innovative bioinformatic methods to analyze and interpret next-generation sequencing data.The successful candidate will possess a strong background in bioinformatics, computer programming, mathematics and statistics, with a keen interest in biomedical research. The ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, is essential. A demonstrated track record of successful scientific research, publication in peer-reviewed journals and excellent communication skills are also required.
