
Research Associate III - Ronai Lab

- Conduct independent research and assist in the development and execution of experiments under the guidance of the principal investigator.
- Perform various laboratory techniques, including but not limited to cell culture, Western blotting, PCR, cloning, and microscopy.
- Analyze and interpret data, and present findings through written reports and oral presentations.
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot experiments and develop new methodologies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures, results, and observations.
- Keep abreast of current literature and research developments in the field to contribute new ideas and approaches to the project.
- Participate in lab meetings, journal clubs, and other scientific discussions.
- Manage and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, including ordering and organizing materials.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all lab members.
- Train and supervise junior lab members, including technicians and students, in laboratory techniques and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and manuscripts for publication.
- Attend scientific conferences and present research findings.
- Collaborate with other research groups and institutions as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of research.
- Contribute to the overall goals and objectives of the Ronai Lab and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Biology, Biochemistry, Or Molecular Biology.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Research Setting, With A Strong Background In Cancer Biology And/Or Signal Transduction.
Proficiency In A Wide Range Of Laboratory Techniques, Including Molecular Cloning, Cell Culture, And Protein Analysis.
Proven Ability To Design And Execute Experiments Independently, As Well As Collaborate Effectively With Team Members.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With A Track Record Of Presenting Research Findings At Conferences And Publishing In Peer-Reviewed Journals.
