  1. Coordinate and support research projects within the Smidt Heart Institute at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
  2. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and institutional policies for research studies.
  3. Assist with the development and submission of grant proposals, including budget preparation.
  4. Manage and maintain all research-related documentation and records.
  5. Facilitate communication and collaboration between researchers, staff, and external partners.
  6. Monitor and track project timelines and milestones to ensure timely completion of research activities.
  7. Assist with the recruitment and training of research staff and volunteers.
  8. Coordinate the preparation and submission of research protocols for review by the Institutional Review Board (IRB).
  9. Assist with data collection, analysis, and interpretation for research studies.
  10. Collaborate with research team members to ensure efficient and effective utilization of resources.
  11. Provide administrative support for research-related meetings, conferences, and events.
  12. Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and trends in research administration and cardiovascular medicine.
  13. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline research operations and increase efficiency.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Business, Or Research.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Research Administration Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Academic Setting.

  • Familiarity With Grant Management Processes And Regulations, Including Nih And Other Funding Agencies.

  • Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Projects Simultaneously.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders Including Researchers, Clinicians, And Administrative Staff.
