- Provide exceptional care to pediatric oncology patients during 12-hour night shifts.
- Utilize specialized knowledge and skills in pediatric oncology to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition, taking appropriate action as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to build trusting relationships and promote a positive care experience.
- Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in pediatric oncology.
- Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring that patient and family needs are met and concerns are addressed.

- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in patient care.

- Attend meetings and trainings as required by the hospital.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of California.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Pediatric Nursing, Preferably In An Oncology Setting.
Current Bls And Pals Certifications.
Ability To Work 12 Hour Night Shifts On A Per Diem Basis, Including Weekends And Holidays.
Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With A Focus On Providing Compassionate And Comprehensive Care To Pediatric Oncology Patients.
