
Registered Nurse - PACU PreOp

- Provide exceptional patient care during the preoperative and postoperative phases.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Monitor vital signs and notify physician of any changes or concerns.
- Educate patients and their families on postoperative care and discharge instructions.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to anticipate and address potential complications.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards.

Active Rn License: A Candidate For This Position Must Possess An Active Registered Nurse License In The State Of California, With No Restrictions Or Pending Disciplinary Actions.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Pacu Or Preop Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Pacu Or Preop Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Environment.
Bls And Acls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications Are Required For This Position, And Must Be Maintained Throughout Employment.
Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Pacu Preop Nurse, The Candidate Should Be Able To Think Critically And Make Quick Decisions In High-Pressure Situations, While Also Being Able To Anticipate Potential Complications And Develop Effective Solutions.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: This Role Involves Frequent Interaction With Patients, Families, And Multidisciplinary Healthcare Teams. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients.
