Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

At Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, we are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for Interventional Radiology to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, patient-centered professional with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.The Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology will be responsible for providing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of nursing and must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.The successful candidate must have a valid California Registered Nurse license and a minimum of three years of nursing experience in interventional radiology, as well as experience with IVs, EKGs, and ACLS. A Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
2. Administer IVs, EKGs, and ACLS.
3. Monitor patient vital signs and medication administration.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimize outcomes.
5. Educate patients and family members on interventional radiology procedures, risks, and expected outcomes.
6. Document patient care in the medical record.
7. Follow established protocols and standards of practice.
8. Maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
9. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
10. Act as a role model and mentor to new staff members.
