The ideal candidate will possess a current California RN license and be certified in BLS and ACLS. - Provide exceptional care to patients in our community outreach programs, utilizing specialized skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with the Cardiothoracic Surgery (CTS) team to provide comprehensive and individualized care to patients undergoing cardiac and thoracic surgeries.
- Utilize strong background in nursing to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, and ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition, and collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement appropriate interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide education, support, and reassurance.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
- Serve as a role model and mentor to less experienced nursing staff.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and promoting patient safety.
- Keep up-to-date with current trends and advancements in cardiovascular and thoracic nursing.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, and contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field
Current Bls And Acls Certifications
Active Rn License In The State Of California
Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In Outreach Programs Or Community Health
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team And Effectively Educate Patients And Their Families
