- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to established protocols, ensuring accuracy and high-quality images for patients.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following infection control and safety protocols.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and reporting any malfunctions.
- Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain optimal images for diagnosis.
- Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, and communicate any concerns or abnormalities to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Maintain patient records and documentation of procedures in accordance with departmental and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Attend and participate in departmental meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on advancements and best practices in diagnostic imaging.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations related to patient care and privacy.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve patient outcomes and efficiency in the diagnostic imaging process.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with data collection and analysis.
- Maintain professional development and stay current on new technologies and techniques in the field of diagnostic imaging.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Current Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Radiologic Technologist, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.
Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Radiologic Equipment, Including X-Ray, Ct, Mri, And Ultrasound Machines.
Knowledge Of Anatomy, Physiology, And Medical Terminology, As Well As Radiation Safety And Patient Care Protocols.
