  1. Conduct radiation therapy treatments for patients using advanced technology and techniques.
  2. Monitor and assess patients' reactions and response to treatment, adjusting as needed.
  3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress.
  5. Educate patients and their families on the radiation therapy process and potential side effects.
  6. Ensure the safety of patients and staff by following proper safety protocols and procedures.
  7. Maintain and operate state-of-the-art radiation therapy equipment.
  8. Assist in the training and mentoring of new radiation therapists.
  9. Stay current with advancements in radiation therapy technology and techniques.
  10. Maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion when interacting with patients and their families.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continually enhance patient care.
  12. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  13. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
  14. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure seamless and comprehensive patient care.
  15. Handle any equipment malfunctions or technical difficulties promptly and efficiently.
  16. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  17. Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and trainings.
  18. Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
  19. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  20. Other duties as assigned by the department manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiation Therapy Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Valid Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Radiation Therapy.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In Radiation Therapy, Preferably In An Academic Medical Center.

  • Current Licensure Or Eligibility For Licensure In The State Of California As A Radiation Therapist.
