- Oversee and manage the Peer Review Quality Service and Patient Safety initiatives within the organization.
- Develop and implement strategic plans and policies to improve the quality of patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze data related to patient outcomes, safety incidents, and quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team responsible for peer review and patient safety, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations and experts to stay updated on best practices and industry trends.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to patient safety and quality of care.
- Participate in quality improvement committees and initiatives to drive positive change and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and regulatory agencies during accreditation and audit processes.
- Prepare and present reports on quality and safety initiatives to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of transparency and accountability by promoting open communication and encouraging staff to report safety concerns.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and advancements in healthcare quality and patient safety and make recommendations for their implementation.
- Uphold the mission and values of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and act as a role model for ethical and professional behavior.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Program Administration Or Quality Improvement Role.
Knowledge Of Peer Review Processes And Accreditation Standards, Such As The Joint Commission Or Cms.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collect, Analyze, And Present Data.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Various Stakeholders, Including Physicians, Staff, And Administration.
