Pharmacy Manager - Informatics

The successful candidate will collaborate with other informatics professionals and pharmacy leadership to ensure that our electronic health records are optimized for pharmacists’ and other healthcare professionals’ use.The ideal candidate should possess a PharmD, BCPS, and/or BCACP certification and have at least 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role. The Pharmacy Manager - Informatics should have a working knowledge of computer systems and possess strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

1. Provide strategic direction and operational management of clinical informatics initiatives related to pharmacy services and the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee.
2. Collaborate with informatics professionals and pharmacy leadership to ensure electronic health records are optimized for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
3. Utilize computer systems and analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
4. Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
5. Lead and motivate pharmacy team to ensure patient care is improved.
6. Monitor and evaluate pharmacy operations for improvement opportunities.
7. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
8. Develop and implement policies and procedures for pharmacy operations.
9. Train and mentor pharmacy staff on operational processes and procedures.
10. Manage budget and resources to maximize efficiency.
