Pharmacy Drug Use Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain drug use systems and processes to ensure the safe and efficient use of medications within the Medical Center.
2. Monitor and evaluate drug use systems and procedures for effectiveness and compliance with relevant laws.
3. Supervise and train pharmacy staff on drug use policies and procedures.
4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination with regards to drug use.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of drug use systems, procedures, and processes.
6. Monitor and analyze trends in drug use to identify and address potential issues.
7. Develop and implement strategies to ensure the safe and effective use of medications and to reduce medication errors.
8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide education and support related to drug use.
9. Research and review new drugs and medications for safety and efficacy.
10. Monitor drug inventory and ensure that all medications are properly stored and disposed of.
