  1. Dispensing Medications: The Pharmacist - Oncology Clinical Specialist will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications to oncology patients according to physician prescriptions.
  2. Medication Management: The Pharmacist will be responsible for monitoring and managing medication regimens for oncology patients, ensuring safe and effective use of medications.
  3. Collaborate with Medical Team: The Pharmacist will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care for oncology patients. This includes participating in multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings and providing medication recommendations.
  4. Patient Education: The Pharmacist will educate patients and their families on medication usage, side effects, and potential drug interactions. This includes providing counseling on proper administration and storage of medications.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited School Of Pharmacy.

  • Board Certification In Oncology Pharmacy (Bcop) From The Board Of Pharmacy Specialties.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience As A Pharmacist In An Oncology Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Chemotherapy And Other Cancer Treatment Medications.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work With Multidisciplinary Teams And Educate Patients On Medication Management.
