Pharmacist Intern

The intern pharmacist is responsible for the development and utilization of skills required in drug distribution and in the provision of clinical services in an institutional setting under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. The intern pharmacist is also responsible for general Pharmacy Technician responsibilities, including the preparation, distribution and control of sterile and non-sterile oral and injectable medications and participation in departmental programs. All duties are performed independently by the intern pharmacist under the supervision of a pharmacist.
