Job Description

At Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, we are looking for a Pediatric Registered Nurse who can provide compassionate and knowledgeable care for our youngest patients and their families. Our ideal candidate will have the required qualifications and a passion for helping children and their families through difficult times. The successful candidate must possess a valid Registered Nurse License, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least two years of experience in the pediatric nursing field. In addition, excellent communication skills are essential for this role in order to effectively collaborate with a variety of healthcare professionals. A passion for pediatric nursing, an understanding of the unique needs of pediatric patients, and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care to our patients are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide compassionate and knowledgeable care for pediatric patients and their families.
  2. Possess a valid Registered Nurse License, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least two years of experience in the pediatric nursing field.
  3. Communicate effectively with a variety of healthcare professionals.
  4. Demonstrate a passion for pediatric nursing and an understanding of the unique needs of pediatric patients.
  5. Commit to providing the highest quality of care to our patients.
  6. Administer treatments and medications prescribed by physicians.
  7. Monitor and record patient vital signs and progress.
  8. Educate patients and their families on treatments, medications, and health maintenance.
  9. Assist in diagnostic testing and managing emergency situations.
  10. Follow policies, procedures, and standards of practice set by the hospital and regulatory agencies.
