- Accurately register patients by collecting and verifying personal and insurance information.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Maintain a positive and welcoming environment for patients during the registration process.
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for services.
- Adhere to all hospital and department policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Utilize computer systems to accurately input patient information and update records as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless registration process.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Assist patients with financial arrangements and coordinate with billing department as needed.
- Follow up with patients to ensure all necessary paperwork and information is completed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations.
- Attend trainings and stay updated on industry regulations and changes.
- Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Provide support to other team members as needed.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Insurance Verification Processes.
Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Patient Registration Or Customer Service.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals.
Proficiency In Computer Skills, Including Experience With Electronic Health Records And Registration Systems.
