
Patient Access Rep I

- Greet and welcome patients and visitors to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in a friendly and professional manner.
- Facilitate the registration and check-in process for patients, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all required information.
- Verify patient insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations.
- Answer any questions or concerns patients may have regarding the registration process.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other hospital staff to ensure a smooth and efficient registration process.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize electronic medical record systems to enter and update patient information.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating patient referrals.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient needs and concerns in a timely and respectful manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate patient processing.
- Stay up-to-date on hospital policies and procedures related to patient registration and admissions.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
Ability To Multitask And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment While Maintaining Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Insurance Verification Processes
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Patient Registration Or Scheduling
