- Oversee the Environmental Services (EVS) department and ensure that all areas of the facility are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Manage and supervise a team of EVS staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations and protocols.
- Develop and implement procedures and protocols for maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor and track inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and order replacements as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and consistency of cleanliness throughout the facility.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning and maintenance schedules.
- Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to cleanliness in a timely and professional manner.
- Train and educate staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and infection control procedures.
- Maintain records and documentation related to EVS operations, including staff performance evaluations and training records.
- Continuously evaluate and improve EVS operations to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communicate and collaborate with upper management to provide updates on EVS department performance and any issues that may arise.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in environmental services to ensure that our facility is providing the highest level of cleanliness.
- Represent the EVS department in meetings and committees related to facility operations.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Evs Operations, Including Cleaning And Sanitizing Procedures, Waste Management, And Infection Control Protocols.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Communicate With Various Departments And Stakeholders.
Demonstrated Leadership Abilities, Including The Ability To Make Decisions, Solve Problems, And Prioritize Tasks In A Fast-Paced Environment.
