Job Description

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Neuro ICU team. The NP in this role will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and a passion for delivering the highest level of care to patients. The successful NP will be highly organized, have excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.To be considered for this role, applicants must have a valid RN license and a valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide quality patient care in a Neuro ICU setting
  2. Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals
  3. Manage patient care plans, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
  4. Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests
  5. Communicate effectively with patients and their families
  6. Document patient care services accurately and completely
  7. Maintain patient confidentiality
  8. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies
  9. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives
