- Provide high-quality healthcare services to children in underserved communities through the COACH for Kids Mobile Clinic.
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, and provide preventative care to pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the COACH for Kids Mobile Clinic team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards, as well as evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the development and implementation of new programs and services.
- Act as a resource and mentor for fellow team members, including nurses, medical assistants, and support staff.
- Stay current with advancements in pediatric healthcare and incorporate new knowledge into practice.
- Demonstrate a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, ensuring a positive experience for all patients and their families.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
- Attend relevant trainings and conferences to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to all Cedars-Sinai policies and procedures, including safety standards and infection control protocols.

Advanced Education And Certification: A Nurse Practitioner (Np) Must Hold A Master's Or Doctoral Degree In Nursing And Be Certified By A Recognized National Certifying Body, Such As The American Nurses Credentialing Center (Ancc) Or The American Academy Of Nurse Practitioners (Aanp).
Pediatric Experience: The Coach For Kids Mobile Clinic Focuses On Providing Healthcare Services To Children, So A Strong Background In Pediatric Care Is Essential For This Position. Nps Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working With Pediatric Patients.
Excellent Clinical Skills: As A Primary Care Provider, The Nurse Practitioner Must Possess Strong Clinical Skills And Be Able To Perform Comprehensive Physical Exams, Diagnose And Treat Common Illnesses And Injuries, And Order And Interpret Diagnostic Tests.
Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Nps Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And The Healthcare Team. This Is Especially Important In A Mobile Clinic Setting Where Patients May Have Limited Access To Healthcare And May Require Additional Education And Support.
Teamwork And Flexibility: Nps Working In The Coach For Kids Mobile Clinic Must Be Able To Work Effectively In A Team-Based Model And Be Flexible In Their Approach To Patient Care. They Must Also Be Able To Adapt To Working In A Mobile Clinic Setting, Which May Involve Traveling To Different Locations And Providing Care In A Non-Traditional Medical Setting.
