  1. Conduct complex neurosurgical procedures with precision and expertise.
  2. Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a high level of patient satisfaction.
  3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and techniques in neurosurgery through continued education and research.
  5. Mentor and train residents and fellows in neurosurgical techniques and patient care.
  6. Participate in clinical trials and research studies to advance the field of neurosurgery.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and surgical procedures.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  9. Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  10. Provide excellent communication and collaboration with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers.
  11. Attend and participate in departmental meetings and conferences.

Job Qualifications

  • Medical Degree: A Candidate For The Neurosurgery - Affiliate Faculty Position Should Have A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution. This Is A Basic Requirement To Practice As A Neurosurgeon And Provide Medical Education To Students And Residents.

  • Board Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Board Certified In Neurosurgery By The American Board Of Neurological Surgery (Abns). This Certification Demonstrates A High Level Of Expertise And Knowledge In The Field Of Neurosurgery.

  • Clinical Experience: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience As A Practicing Neurosurgeon. This Experience Should Include A Variety Of Complex Neurosurgical Procedures And The Ability To Handle A Diverse Range Of Patient Cases.

  • Teaching Experience: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Teaching Medical Students, Residents, And Fellows In A Clinical Setting. This Includes Providing Didactic Lectures, Hands-On Training, And Mentorship To Students And Trainees.

  • Research Experience: The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Conducting And Publishing Research In The Field Of Neurosurgery. This Includes Participating In Clinical Trials, Presenting At Conferences, And Publishing In Peer-Reviewed Journals. Strong Research Skills Are Important For Academic And Clinical Success In The Field Of Neurosurgery.
