Medical Degree: A Candidate For The Neurosurgery - Affiliate Faculty Position Should Have A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution. This Is A Basic Requirement To Practice As A Neurosurgeon And Provide Medical Education To Students And Residents.
Board Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Board Certified In Neurosurgery By The American Board Of Neurological Surgery (Abns). This Certification Demonstrates A High Level Of Expertise And Knowledge In The Field Of Neurosurgery.
Clinical Experience: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience As A Practicing Neurosurgeon. This Experience Should Include A Variety Of Complex Neurosurgical Procedures And The Ability To Handle A Diverse Range Of Patient Cases.
Teaching Experience: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Teaching Medical Students, Residents, And Fellows In A Clinical Setting. This Includes Providing Didactic Lectures, Hands-On Training, And Mentorship To Students And Trainees.
