Medical Assistant - Sports Clinic

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our Sports Clinic team. The ideal candidate will be organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing quality patient care.This Medical Assistant will provide clerical and clinical support in our Sports Clinic setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for administrative functions, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and processing insurance forms. The Medical Assistant will also help to manage clinic workflow, triage patient concerns, and support the clinical team with patient care.To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a current Medical Assisting certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office setting. Experience working in a sports clinic setting is preferred, but not required. The ability to use basic computer programs, such as Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, is also necessary. A friendly, professional demeanor and the ability to work well with a team are also essential.
