Manager, Prospect Development
Creates and implements procedures, sets priorities, oversees proactive prospect research and management, prospects records management, and prospect tracking. Analyzes and evaluates information and assists with the yearly financial forecasting. Implements and maintains prospect management system used to identify, evaluate, assign, and categorize donor interest, capturing data and sharing with fundraisers to enhance fundraising and relationship building activities. Coordinates research of specific individuals, corporations, and foundations. Employs research and analysis of biographical, philanthropic, professional, and financial information. Ensures that updates to prospect databases are timely and accurate to maximize efficiency in development efforts. Prepares and initiates written profiles, events biographies, reports, and lists to support the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major gift donors and prospective donors.
A minimum of 5 years' prospect research/management, fundraising or proven experience at an educational institution or non-profit institution
A minimum of 1 year managing department/service line(s) with a team of direct reports.
Proven track record in conducting research and data mining/analysis to identify and determine financial capacity
Ability to use software applications and operate technological devices (e.g., computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.)
