- Provide top-notch care to animal patients at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's Heart Institute.

- Communicate effectively with veterinarians, researchers, and other staff members to ensure proper care and treatment of animal patients.
- Educate animal owners on proper care and treatment of their pets.
- Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and best practices to continuously improve the level of care provided to animal patients.
- Adhere to all safety and compliance protocols and procedures.
- Act as a role model for other team members by displaying a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving processes and procedures.
- Assist with training and mentoring of new Animal Health Technicians.
- Adhere to all Cedars-Sinai policies and procedures.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As An Animal Health Technician In A Veterinary Or Research Setting.
Bachelor's Degree In Animal Science, Veterinary Technology, Or Related Field.
Certification As A Veterinary Technician (Cvt) Or Laboratory Animal Technician (Lat) Preferred.
Knowledge Of Veterinary Medical Terminology, Animal Handling And Restraint Techniques, And Surgical Assistance.
Strong Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment.
