In addition, you will have the chance to collaborate with other specialists and researchers to advance our understanding and treatment of these complex diseases.To excel in this role, we are seeking someone who is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients, and who has a passion for teaching and mentoring others. You must have a strong background in clinical care, with a focus on GI oncology, and be committed to staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in the field.   1. Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients with gastrointestinal cancers.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists and researchers to advance understanding and treatment of GI cancers.
  3. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and research in the field of GI oncology.
  4. Teach and mentor the next generation of healthcare professionals, including medical students, residents, and fellows.
  5. Participate in clinical trials and research studies to improve treatment options for patients.
  6. Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgical interventions.
  7. Communicate with patients and their families to provide education and support throughout their cancer journey.
  8. Serve as a resource and consultant for other healthcare professionals regarding GI oncology.
  9. Contribute to the overall growth and development of the GI oncology program at Cedars-Sinai.
  10. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  11. Attend and present at conferences and meetings to share knowledge and expertise with the medical community.
  12. Demonstrate a commitment to professional development by pursuing continuing education opportunities.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree (Md Or Do) From An Accredited Institution

  • Active And Unrestricted Medical License In The State Of California

  • Board Certification In Oncology And Gastroenterology

  • Experience In Clinical Research And Publications In The Field Of Gi Oncology

  • Demonstrated Excellence In Patient Care, Teaching, And Leadership In An Academic Medical Center Setting.
