Job Description

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as the Executive Assistant for the Chief Executive at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. As the right-hand to our CEO, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our organization. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual who is able to handle a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with professionalism and poise.   1. Manage the CEO's schedule and calendar, including coordinating and prioritizing meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  2. Anticipate and proactively address the needs of the CEO, including preparing materials and documents for meetings, organizing and maintaining files, and conducting research as needed.
  3. Serve as the main point of contact for the CEO, screening phone calls and emails, responding on their behalf when appropriate, and handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  4. Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations on behalf of the CEO, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the executive team to ensure alignment and coordination of priorities and schedules.
  6. Plan and coordinate events and special projects for the CEO, including board meetings, retreats, and conferences.
  7. Manage expense reports and track budgetary expenses for the CEO's office.
  8. Maintain a strong working relationship with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  9. Serve as a liaison between the CEO and other departments, ensuring effective communication and coordination of tasks and projects.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness in supporting the CEO.
  11. Stay informed of industry trends and developments to provide valuable insights and recommendations to the CEO.
  12. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion in all interactions and communications.
  13. Serve as a role model for other administrative staff, providing guidance and support when needed.
  14. Other duties as assigned by the CEO.

  • Experience In Healthcare Industry: A Strong Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry Is Essential For An Ea In A Medical Center Setting. This Includes Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Procedures, And Regulations.

  • Proven Experience Supporting C-Suite Executives: The Ea Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Supporting High-Level Executives, Demonstrating Their Ability To Handle Confidential Information, Manage Priorities, And Work Under Pressure.

  • Technologically Savvy: In Today's Digital Age, An Ea For A Chief Executive Must Be Proficient In Various Software And Technology Tools, Such As Ms Office, Email, And Calendar Management Systems, To Effectively Support The Executive's Needs.
