Epic Project Manager

The Epic Project Manager will provide guidance for operational departments and end users in the implementation of new clinical information systems, modules, and applications. Facilitates the implementation of small to medium sized projects. With the mentorship of superiors: sets and ensures project goals, milestones, implementation dates are achieved; identifies critical path tasks and predecessor tasks required to complete the project successfully; and provides status reports/updates on aspects of the project. Works with teams to identify problems or barriers for the project. Communicates to EIS leadership and project sponsors in a timely manner. Compiles lists of functional tasks/dates and communicates with user areas to ensure all tasks are included. Tracks project issues and ensures that they are resolved. Establishes working relationships with operational personnel and clinicians.
