Job Description

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is looking for an experienced and passionate EMT Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will use your expertise in Emergency Medical Services to provide top-notch training and instruction to our EMT students, ensuring they receive the best possible education to become successful EMTs. You will provide expert instruction on the latest techniques and best practices in Emergency Medical Services, as well as ensure a safe and effective learning environment for our students.The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in teaching Emergency Medical Services, as well as a valid EMT certification and a history of successful teaching experience. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, able to communicate effectively with students, and passionate about Emergency Medical Services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Teach top-notch Emergency Medical Services courses to EMT students.
  2. Utilize expertise in Emergency Medical Services to provide students with the best possible education.
  3. Incorporate the latest techniques and best practices in Emergency Medical Services into instruction.
  4. Maintain a safe and effective learning environment for students.
  5. Monitor student progress and provide feedback on performance.
  6. Ensure that all students meet the required standards of instruction.
  7. Remain up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  8. Communicate effectively with students and other instructors.
  9. Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials to facilitate learning.
  10. Assess student performance and provide appropriate feedback.
