  1. Accurately and efficiently translate medical procedures and diagnoses into appropriate codes for billing and reimbursement purposes.
  2. Thoroughly understand and adhere to E/M multi-specialty coding guidelines.
  3. Demonstrate strong attention to detail in reviewing and analyzing medical records and documentation.
  4. Work independently with minimal supervision to meet coding productivity and accuracy standards.
  5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations.
  6. Collaborate with healthcare providers and other coding staff to resolve coding and documentation discrepancies.
  7. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  8. Meet departmental and organizational goals and objectives.
  9. Participate in training and educational opportunities to continuously improve coding skills.
  10. Keep accurate and detailed records of coding activities.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any coding issues or concerns.
  12. Use critical thinking skills to identify and resolve coding errors and discrepancies.
  13. Adapt to changes and updates in coding guidelines and regulations.
  14. Uphold ethical standards and follow coding compliance policies and procedures.
  15. Maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity while working remotely.
  16. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  17. Attend meetings and participate in discussions related to coding processes and procedures.
  18. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely coding and billing processes.
  19. Identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations to management.
  20. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Coding Specialist (Ccs) Or Certified Professional Coder (Cpc) Certification

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Coding Experience In A Multi-Specialty Setting

  • Strong Understanding Of E/M Coding Guidelines And Documentation Requirements

  • Proficiency In Using Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Systems And Coding Software

  • Excellent Communication And Analytical Skills, With Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
