Clinical Research Data Specialist

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is looking for a highly-skilled Clinical Research Data Specialist to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills to help manage and analyze our clinical research data.The ideal candidate for this position will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as computer science, statistics, or health informatics, and a minimum of two years of experience in clinical research data analysis. Additionally, knowledge of the principles of clinical research and common research data formats is essential. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of data management concepts, data cleansing, de-identification, and data security protocols. Proficiency in a variety of software packages, including Excel, Access, and statistical software is also essential. Finally, the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff. Responsibilities:

1. Manage and analyze clinical research data.
2. Ensure data accuracy and security protocols are followed.
3. Develop and maintain databases and systems for data collection, storage, and analysis.
4. Utilize Excel, Access and other software packages to manage, analyze, and report on research data.
5. Prepare and present reports on research data.
6. Collaborate with research staff to identify data requirements and develop data analysis plans.
7. Communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
8. Stay up to date with current trends in clinical research data analysis.
