- Conduct clinical research studies: The primary responsibility of this role is to support and assist in conducting clinical research studies at the Tan Lab.
- Collaborate with research team: The Clinical Research Associate I will work closely with the team of researchers at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to assist in the design, implementation, and completion of research projects.
- Data collection and analysis: Responsible for collecting and organizing data from various sources, and analyzing it to draw meaningful conclusions.
- Maintain research records: The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed records of all research activities, including data, protocols, and reports.
- Compliance and regulation: Ensure all research activities are in compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations and guidelines.
- Recruitment of study participants: Assist in the recruitment and screening of study participants, and maintain accurate records of participant information.
- Support study procedures: The candidate will assist in performing study procedures such as obtaining informed consent, administering study interventions, and collecting biological samples.
- Communicate study progress: Keep the research team informed of study progress and any issues that may arise.
- Literature review: Conduct literature reviews to stay updated on current research and assist in the development of new research proposals.
- Quality control: The Clinical Research Associate I will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of data collected and reported.
- Training and development: Participate in training programs and continuous learning opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in clinical research.
- Adhere to ethical standards: Maintain the highest ethical standards in all research activities, including the protection of participant confidentiality and privacy.
- Administrative tasks: Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and ordering supplies.
- Other duties as assigned: The candidate may be assigned additional responsibilities as needed to support the research team and the overall goals of the Tan Lab.
Knowledge Of Fda Regulations And Good Clinical Practice (Gcp) Guidelines.
Bachelor's Degree In A Scientific Discipline Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Clinical Research, Preferably In A Hospital Or Academic Setting.
Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Team Of Healthcare Professionals.
