  1. Provide compassionate and dedicated care to orthopedic patients on the 7N unit during night shift.
  2. Demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in patient care and satisfaction.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  4. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  6. Monitor and assess patient's condition, report any changes to the appropriate healthcare team members.
  7. Assist with patient activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  8. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and rehabilitation.
  9. Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
  10. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, following infection control protocols.
  11. Participate in unit meetings and professional development activities.
  12. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.
  14. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  15. Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
  16. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes and processes.
  17. Attend trainings and educational programs to maintain knowledge and skills relevant to the role.
  18. Assist with transporting patients to and from procedures and appointments.
  19. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
  20. Serve as a role model for excellence in patient care and professionalism.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Bls And Acls Certifications From The American Heart Association.

  • Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of California.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Orthopedic Nursing.

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Fast-Paced Environment.
