
Clinic Assistant
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is looking for a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Clinic Assistant. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service and communication skills, have a strong attention to detail, and be organized, reliable, and a team player. In this role, you will provide excellent patient-centered care to all who enter the clinic, while helping to ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the clinic. If you have a passion for helping others and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!Required Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent• At least one year of experience in a related medical office setting or equivalent combination of education and experience• Excellent customer service and communication skills• Ability to multitask and prioritize• Ability to work independently and with a team• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy• Knowledge of medical terminology• Working knowledge of computer applications and technology
Responsibilities: • Greet and check-in patients, verifying insurance information, and collecting co-pays. • Schedule patient appointments and follow up with patients in a timely manner. • Answer incoming calls and provide patient information and resources. • Assist with medical records and maintain patient confidentiality. • Assist with front office duties, such as filing and data entry. • Assist medical staff with patient care and administrative tasks. • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the clinic. • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. • Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times. • Perform other duties as assigned.
