- Provide safe and effective anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical and non-surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop individualized anesthesia plans for each patient.
- Administer and monitor anesthesia during procedures, adjusting dosage and techniques as needed.
- Monitor patient vital signs, pain levels, and response to anesthesia throughout procedures.
- Assess and manage post-anesthesia recovery, including pain management and patient education.
- Assist with pre-operative evaluations and patient education to ensure a smooth and successful anesthesia experience.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, including anesthesia records and medication administration.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge of anesthesia techniques and procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to improve patient outcomes and quality of care.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor with patients and colleagues at all times.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure proper functioning during procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge as a CRNA.
Current Crna Certification: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid Certification As A Crna From A Recognized Accrediting Body, Such As The National Board Of Certification And Recertification For Nurse Anesthetists (Nbcrna).
Valid State Licensure: The Candidate Must Hold A Current And Unrestricted License To Practice As A Registered Nurse Anesthetist In The State Of California.
Minimum Education And Experience: The Candidate Must Have A Master's Degree Or Higher In Nursing From An Accredited Institution And A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Crna In A Hospital Setting.
Excellent Clinical Skills: The Candidate Must Possess Strong Clinical Skills And Be Able To Demonstrate Proficiency In Administering Anesthesia To Patients Of All Ages And Acuity Levels.
Ability To Work Independently: The Candidate Must Be Able To Work Independently And Make Critical Decisions In A Fast-Paced And High-Pressure Environment. They Must Also Have Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills To Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals.
