  1. Conduct cutting-edge research in bioinformatics and computational oncology, utilizing advanced data analysis techniques and tools to explore and analyze large datasets related to cancer biology.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, scientists, and researchers to design and implement research projects focused on improving cancer care.
  3. Utilize your expertise in bioinformatics to develop and validate novel computational tools and algorithms for the analysis of cancer-related data.
  4. Stay updated on the latest advancements in the field of bioinformatics and computational oncology and apply them to your research projects.
  5. Analyze and interpret complex data sets, identify patterns and trends, and present findings to the research team and other stakeholders.
  6. Contribute to the development of research proposals, manuscripts, and grant applications related to cancer bioinformatics and computational oncology.
  7. Train and mentor junior researchers and students on bioinformatics and data analysis techniques.
  8. Collaborate with external partners and participate in conferences and workshops to share research findings and foster collaborations.
  9. Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards in all research activities.
  10. Contribute to the overall mission and goals of the research team and the medical center to advance cancer research and improve patient outcomes.

Job Qualifications
  • A Phd In Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Or A Related Field, With A Strong Emphasis On Cancer Research And Personalized Medicine.

  • Extensive Experience In Analyzing And Interpreting Large-Scale Genomics, Transcriptomics, And Proteomics Data, As Well As Knowledge Of Relevant Databases And Tools.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As R, Python, And Perl, As Well As Experience With Statistical And Machine Learning Techniques For Data Analysis.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With A Track Record Of Successful Interdisciplinary Research And Mentoring Of Trainees.

  • A Strong Publication Record In Cancer Bioinformatics And/Or Computational Oncology, Demonstrated Through High-Impact Publications In Peer-Reviewed Journals.
