  1. Ensure compliance with all international tax laws and regulations for Caterpillar's global operations.
  2. Stay updated on changes in international tax laws and regulations and advise the company on potential impacts.
  3. Identify opportunities for tax optimization and work with cross-functional teams to implement strategies.
  4. Manage cross-border tax compliance for all subsidiaries and affiliates.
  5. Provide guidance and support to business units on international tax matters.
  6. Conduct thorough research and analysis to support tax planning initiatives.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with tax authorities and external tax advisors.
  8. Prepare and review international tax filings, including but not limited to tax returns, transfer pricing documentation, and country-by-country reports.
  9. Monitor and manage tax audits and disputes related to international tax matters.
  10. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of international tax matters.
  11. Train and mentor junior tax team members on international tax laws and regulations.
  12. Communicate complex tax concepts and strategies to non-experts within the organization.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve international tax processes and procedures.
  14. Support the development and implementation of global tax strategies.
  15. Represent Caterpillar in international tax conferences and seminars.
  16. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends related to international taxation.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.

  • Cpa Or Equivalent Certification.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In International Tax Compliance And Planning.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Us International Tax Laws, Regulations, And Reporting Requirements.

  • Experience With Tax Software And Erp Systems, Preferably Sap And Onesource.
