- Facilitate and lead daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective meetings for multiple cross-functional teams.
- Act as a servant leader, coaching and empowering team members to embrace Agile principles and values.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to define project scope, prioritize backlog items, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Identify and remove any obstacles or impediments that may hinder the team's progress towards project goals.
- Monitor and track project progress, providing regular updates to key stakeholders on project status, risks, and dependencies.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, fostering a mindset of learning and adaptation within the team.
- Mentor and guide less experienced Scrum Masters and team members on best practices and Agile methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to Agile principles and processes, while also adapting to the unique needs and dynamics of the team.
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile coaches to share knowledge, best practices, and drive consistency across projects and teams.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance and improve the Agile process within the organization.
Certification: A Senior Scrum Master At Caterpillar Should Hold A Certified Scrum Professional (Csp) Or Certified Scrum Coach (Csc) Certification, Demonstrating An Expert Level Of Knowledge And Experience In Agile And Scrum Methodologies.
Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience Working As A Scrum Master In A Large Organization, Preferably In The Manufacturing Or Industrial Sector. They Should Also Have Experience Leading Multiple Scrum Teams And Managing Complex Projects.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Senior Scrum Master, The Candidate Should Have Exceptional Leadership Skills And Be Able To Guide And Mentor Other Scrum Masters And Team Members. They Should Also Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders And Manage Conflicts Within The Team.
Technical Knowledge: A Senior Scrum Master Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Software Development Processes And Technologies, As Well As Experience In Implementing Agile Practices In A Technical Environment. Knowledge Of Caterpillar's Specific Technology Stack And Systems Would Be A Plus.
