- Conduct on-site visits and assessments to identify potential safety hazards and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to workplace safety and ensure that all safety products meet these standards.
- Develop and deliver presentations and training sessions to educate customers on the proper use and installation of safety products.
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to facilitate the smooth implementation of safety products.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety products and make recommendations for improvements.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting on safety product usage, customer satisfaction, and any identified issues.
- Act as a brand ambassador by promoting Caterpillar's commitment to safety and building strong relationships with customers.
- Mentor and train junior safety product consultants to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality service to customers.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify potential new markets and opportunities for safety products.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times, representing Caterpillar's values and mission.
Extensive Experience In Safety Product Consulting: A Senior Safety Product Consultant At Caterpillar Should Possess A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Safety Product Consulting, Preferably In The Heavy Equipment Industry. This Experience Should Include Working With Various Safety Products, Conducting Safety Audits, And Providing Recommendations To Improve Safety Standards.
Strong Knowledge Of Safety Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Regulations And Standards, Including Osha, Ansi, And Iso. They Should Also Be Up-To-Date With Any Changes Or Updates To These Regulations And Be Able To Apply Them In Their Consulting Work.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Senior Consultant, The Candidate Must Have Exceptional Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Present Safety Solutions To Clients. They Should Also Be Able To Build And Maintain Strong Relationships With Clients, Understand Their Needs And Concerns, And Provide Appropriate Solutions.
Leadership And Team Management Skills: A Senior Safety Product Consultant Should Have Experience In Leading And Managing A Team Of Safety Consultants. They Should Be Able To Effectively Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance, And Ensure The Team's Success In Delivering High-Quality Safety Consulting Services.
Technical Expertise And Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Technical Background And Be Able To Analyze Complex Safety Issues And Provide Innovative Solutions.
