- Coordinate and manage the timely delivery of materials to support production processes.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or delays in material availability.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues or delays.
- Analyze data and utilize forecasting techniques to anticipate material needs and proactively communicate any potential risks.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, purchasing, and logistics, to ensure efficient and effective material flow.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize material flow and reduce lead times.
- Monitor and track material shipments to ensure on-time delivery and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to material planning and inventory management.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the supply chain.
- Stay informed of industry trends and developments and apply best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety and compliance standards.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding material planning and inventory management.
- Train and mentor junior logistics coordinators and provide guidance as needed.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of materials to support production processes.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Logistics Or Material Planning, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Industrial Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Supply Chain Management Principles And Processes.
Proficiency In Using Logistics Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Teams And Stakeholders.
