  1. Develop and implement high-quality user interface solutions for Caterpillar's products and applications.
  2. Lead and manage a team of software engineers to achieve project goals and deliverables.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise.
  4. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in UI development to continuously improve product offerings.
  5. Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure code quality standards are met.

  12. Collaborate with product managers and designers to create user-friendly and visually appealing designs.
  13. Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new team members.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Ui Development: A Qualified Lead Software Engineer For Ui Development At Caterpillar Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Developing User Interfaces For Web And Mobile Applications. They Should Be Proficient In Html, Css, And Javascript, And Have A Strong Understanding Of Responsive Design And Cross-Platform Compatibility.

  • Technical Leadership Skills: As A Lead Software Engineer, The Candidate Should Have Proven Experience In Leading A Team Of Developers And Guiding Them In Technical Decision-Making. They Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Ui Frameworks: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Modern Ui Frameworks Such As Angular, React, Or Vue.js. They Should Be Able To Leverage These Frameworks To Build Scalable And Maintainable User Interfaces For Complex Applications.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Abilities: A Lead Software Engineer Should Be Able To Identify And Solve Complex Technical Problems Related To Ui Development. They Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills And Be Able To Think Creatively To Come Up With Innovative Solutions.

  • Agile Development Experience: At Caterpillar, We Follow An Agile Development Methodology, And The Lead Software Engineer Should Have Experience Working In An Agile Environment. They Should Be Familiar With Agile Principles And Practices Such As Scrum, Kanban, And Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (Ci/Cd).
