- Lead the development and implementation of new electronic components and systems for Caterpillar products.
- Oversee the NPI process from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery of projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Manage and monitor project budgets, resources, and risks.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in the NPI process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective solutions.
- Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in electronic technology to inform decision-making and drive innovation.
- Act as a liaison between engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the development and launch of new products.
- Identify and address any issues or roadblocks that may arise during the NPI process.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the NPI team.
- Represent Caterpillar at industry events and conferences to promote our NPI capabilities and showcase our innovative products.
- Drive a culture of safety and quality in all NPI activities.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In New Product Introduction (Npi) In The Electronics Industry
Strong Project Management Skills, With Experience Leading Cross-Functional Teams
In-Depth Knowledge Of Electronics Manufacturing Processes And Quality Control Systems
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Global Teams And Suppliers.
