  1. Manage and maintain the Dynatrace infrastructure for Caterpillar, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  2. Monitor and troubleshoot system issues to identify and resolve any potential problems.
  3. Implement and maintain best practices and standards for Dynatrace usage to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organization.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement new features or updates to the Dynatrace platform.
  5. Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and processes.
  6. Analyze system performance data and make recommendations for improvements to enhance overall system performance.
  7. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and advancements in Dynatrace technology and make recommendations for integration and optimization.
  8. Train and mentor team members on Dynatrace usage and best practices.
  9. Work closely with IT operations teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality with other systems.
  10. Continuously improve processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the Dynatrace infrastructure.
  11. Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to resolve any technical issues and ensure system compatibility.
  12. Participate in on-call rotation and provide support during off-hours as needed.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures, and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  14. Take ownership of assigned projects and see them through from start to finish.
  15. Provide regular reports and updates to management on system performance and any potential issues.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience With Dynatrace: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working With Dynatrace, Including Deploying, Configuring, And Maintaining The Tool For Large-Scale Enterprise Applications.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Apm Concepts: The Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Application Performance Management (Apm) Concepts, Including End-To-End Application Monitoring, Transaction Tracing, Performance Metrics, And Root Cause Analysis.

  • Proficiency In Scripting And Automation: The Job Requires The Ability To Write Scripts And Use Automation Tools To Streamline The Deployment And Configuration Of Dynatrace Agents, Dashboards, And Alerts.

  • Familiarity With Devops Practices: The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Devops Principles And Practices, Including Agile Methodology, Ci/Cd, And Infrastructure As Code, To Support The Integration Of Dynatrace In The Development And Deployment Process.

  • Communication And Troubleshooting Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills And The Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Technical Issues. This Role Involves Working Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, So The Ability To Collaborate And Communicate Effectively Is Crucial For Success.
