Job Description

As an Assembly Technician at Caterpillar, you will play a crucial role in assembling and testing our top-of-the-line products, ensuring their quality and reliability.   1. Assemble and test construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines, and diesel-electric locomotives according to company standards and specifications.
  2. Ensure the quality and reliability of assembled products through thorough testing and inspection.
  3. Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  4. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any assembly issues that may arise.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of assembly processes and any adjustments made.
  6. Meet production goals and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  7. Continually strive to improve assembly processes and identify areas for efficiency and cost savings.
  8. Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

  10. Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and changes in assembly procedures.
