- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the supply chain department to ensure efficient and effective performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain processes and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Manage and mentor a team of supply chain staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Make recommendations for inventory levels and monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are met and take corrective action when necessary.
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on supply chain operations and address any issues or concerns.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for supply chain processes.
- Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures related to supply chain management.
- Participate in budget planning and monitor expenses to ensure they are within budget.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve supply chain operations.
- Lead and support continuous improvement projects to drive efficiency and productivity within the supply chain department.
Strong Leadership Skills: A Supervisor, Supply Chain At Catalent Must Have Proven Experience In Leading And Managing A Team Of Supply Chain Professionals. They Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Guide And Motivate Team Members To Achieve Departmental Goals.
